Default Going Forward with the Forum . . .

Some of you know or may have heard of my wife's declining health from Parkinson's Disease, a pains takingly slow eradicator of life. The last half of our previous year started to bring my awareness that caring for her and all the medical demands involved really needed 150% of my brain power and emotional self. Playing and taking charge here suffered for sure but I've had my good years in the past. I will still take care of the Rpoints ans ROI Totals each or each multiple week nyway.

To the point, I'm taking a break from this place, for I'm not sure how long, afer seeing this and other forums through for over 20 years. It's in good hands with JolyB and Real Quiet and Digger. At times, in my early morning nd late evening quiet times, I iwll miss it and maybe even e the effort to throw in a quick wager or two based on my truly feable prowess in the betting game of course.

I know y'all wil miss my typos and misspellings but you'll just have to smile at something else or find a few in this post, Y not!!!

This is a great group/family of thoroughbred loving people and I surely was proud to be part of it and help lead it along. Take care, stafe (stay safe) and have a Merry Christmas and a veyr Happy New Year!!!

Very sorry to hear that your wife's situation has worsened and is requiring more of your attention and care, but that is where your best focus should be and I'm sure that all here will appreciate that. Hopefully, at some point, you can return to the fold or at least participate when you can. Hope things get better for both you and your wife.

I'm so sorry to hear that your wife's health has continued to deteriorate, and continue to pray for some miracles that will improve things for you. I hope that any time you need a change of pace or just a breath of fresh air you will come back to play on a Saturday, talk about horses or just have a chat about nothing at all.

In the meanwhile, rest assured that Real Quiet, Digger and I will do our level best to keep things muddling along. We have some very large shoes to fill, but I'm sure that all of our other players will recognize the situation and try to help things run as smoothly as possible.
