There was a whole lotta racing going on at the Fair Grounds but not a whole lotta profits.
Three players figured out a race or two but only two of them could show a profit. Joly B
just missed getting some points despite hitting an exacta 66 times falling a dollar short
of breaking even. Cal gets second place and the points by hitting a superfecta in race 11
and an even better exacta in race 12. A $19.80 exacta propelled Cal to an overall profit
of $88.76 on the Lousiana afternoon. The afternoons big winner was Digger who hits the
board for the second straight week and this time visits the winners circle. The Dig played
Clearly a Test in the 11th and got a nice payout for his effort. The $4.20 mutuel doubled
his stake and gave him an overall profit of $110 which was more than sufficient for the
win at the Fair Grounds course. Congrats on the win Digger. Nicely played. Following
