ROI Results 1/25 @ Gulfstream
About as close to a Best Bet at Gulfstream on Saturday was JolyB saying it “appears to be a really
tough card”. However, Cal had a $ 4 trifecta in race 11 to get the win. Gamblin4ever hit an exacta in the Pegasus but fell short of profitability. Following are the unofficial results with the correction. There was a late change after a flag on the play. I missed a trifecta for $1 and that gave Cal an extra $21.70 and his 3rd win in the 2025 season. Always good to have a winner in the contest. My apology Cal. I had you down for a minus $12 in one of your winning trifecta's. Check the scores again and I'll see you all next week Cal828... +$11.80... OK, I am a little confused, but must admit I made mathematical errors in my wagering totals, so probably have been the main cause of my own confusion. Even so, the results of my wagers don't seem quite right. I bet a $3 Tri and a $1 Tri which would be 8 50 cent Tris. The payoff for a 50 cent Tri was $10.85 which would result in a $86.80 total. The $3 dollar tri I bet had a scratch so my cost for that wager should have been $12 dollars instead of $18 and each of my $1 Tris should have been $12 instead of $20. So don't know what happens when a person bets too much instead of too little, but I guess these are counted as played?

I will check it tomorrow. Sounds like I made an error somewhere.

Ok. Thanks. Sorry for the confusion. I usually don't make errors in wager calculation, but was doing it last minute so I just used all instead of actually putting in the numbers which would have told me that I was using too many horses.

Correction made to the initial post. We indeed had a winner and that was Cal.

Hey Cal, it's better than a virtual poke in the eye!

I'm not a very talented handicapper, but if there is a way to screw things up and make them more confusing, my talent is limitless. I appreciate RQ's willingness to consider my appeal. I will try hard not to make things so difficult in the future.
