Total handle for the Feb. 14-16 KDFW pool – the fourth of six scheduled wagering pools in advance of the 151st running of the Kentucky Derby presented by Woodford Reserve (GI) on Saturday, May 3 – was $412,766 ($319,881 in the Win pool and $92,885 in Exactas) – a 1.1% increase from last year’s $408,422 ($309,393 in the Win pool and $99,029 in Exactas).

Through the first four pools, a total of $1,253,931 has been bet on Derby future wagers, a 2.9% jump from last year’s $1,218,084.

Inaugurated in 1999, the Kentucky Derby Future Wager has been offered for a 27th consecutive year. Other Future Wager dates are set for March 14-16 (Pool 5) and April 3-5 (Pool 6). Pool 5 will include the Longines Kentucky Oaks Future Wager.
