I was thinking about Keenland on Saturday starting with race 3. If you want we can add the Wood and Santa Anita Derby. I don’t want to play an all stakes card due to weather concerns and a few non consecutive stakes races but I’m asking for input today while it’s still early. I’ll post a venue early Thursday.

There are only 5 in the SA Derby.... such a shame. The Keeneland card looks good as well as the Woodward and SA Derby.

Somebody got me yesterday with the "Baffert Retires" April Fools prank. My first thought was about the survival of racing in California. I'm glad it was a joke.

Baffert's moves this year seem to be a bit baffling. Seems like he could have sent one of his Santa Anita entrants to Oaklawn, but he often sends his "B" team runners and even "C" team and still wins. Most of us still gave him a lot of respect in both the Arkansas and Florida Derbies. He's regarded as the GOAT and maybe he's mindful of his importance to Santa Anita. Whatever he sends to Kentucky I will have a wager on.

Wow! Keeneland has postponed Friday and Saturday's races till Monday and Tuesday because of the threat of severe weather and flooding.
