No, they gave us an unused "snow day". I'm done June 14.
Don't know if I told you...Makeitright is going to ship up to Toga from the training facility on Long Island. He should run well. |

Yes. Makeitright is unraced. My partner on him is Joey D. who works for Jim J. Hope there's a stall for him.
Makeitright's big brother, Darbay's Valentine was a winner for Bobby Ringhoff at Finger Lakes. Now Darbay's Valentine is coming back to the farm for retraining. He's out of the same sire, Gold Miner's Gold, and same mare, Darbay. I wish you could see Darbay's new colt. He's by Daygata (Dayjur). Very correct. Runs for fun in the pasture. His full sister, Darlin' by Day is a yearling filly now. She has the "look". We'll see how this adventure plays out. DTS |

Oh YEAH!!!
When I first saw him I knew he'd be good. One of the nicest ones I've seen. It's really nice to pick the sire (Daygata was sold to Seymore Cohen's Merrylegs for 500K). He never raced as he got hurt before his first start. I took a chance with him after I saw him in person. He's thrown some runners. Then the eleven month wait....so worth it! What I liked about him, besides his outstanding conformation, was that his granddad was Alydar, just what I was looking for genetics wise for Darbay. There's Videogirl's post about owning one. Heck, I own eight. And what should be a good one on the way. I'm thinking of forming my own LLC. Incentives for NY breds are pretty good. If you haven't read about them, go to nybreds.com. If you or any other posters here want a share of one, I could set something up for you. I'll sell 10% shares, probably around 3K. DTS (Wayne) |

I hope you come to Toga this summer. It should be the best... best horses, best track. And you get to meet up with some people you read about but haven't seen. I look forward to it. If I get my pic taken at Finger Lakes, I'll post it here. Wayne |
