Deouty got his final eighth in 12:3/5 which is a pretty nice kick. But what made it look nice was the leader staggered home in over 14 seconds.

I was impressed because I thought the distance was waaaaaay too short for him. I'll have to see it against good horses before I'm truly impressed but at least I don't think he'll be an embarassment in the Derby like I thought prior to the race.
