Default waiting for Ruffian

The Ruffian movie's supposed to come out in June. Anyone know where it's being shot (or was shot, if it's already in post-production)? I hope they used actual racetracks and not some fake oval.

BTW, found this link on the web when I was snooping around for info. Someone's probably already posted it but worth watching if you haven't already:

They finished filming back in the spring. A lot of it was filmed in Louisiana, but I'm not sure what track, and they finished up at Belmont ( in April ).

The movie will be on ABC Belmont Stakes week.

I hate to say this, but there is absolutely no way I will watch that movie. I'm sure it will be a deservedly glorious telling of a glorious tale, but.......

Taking nothing away from the folks who are bringing it to the screen. I'm happy that others will now have the opportunity learn of Ruffian.

I think I know what you mean. I will go to watch the movie, but I expect to see a lot of grown men coming out of that theater with tears in their eyes.

My bad, you're absolutely right. What I meant to say was I 'll be seeing teary-eyed grown men leaving my living room.
