Default Calling out TB3 for his undefeated Tar Heels

Kevin I know you know enough about the ACC that you really didn't think the Tar Heels could go undefeated in the ACC but I just wanted to bust your balls for a second and let you know they could'nt even make it til the end of Jan. undefeated, and by the way they have at least 2 more losses in ACC coming, but I know your enjoying Duke's troubles as much as I am, I see them losing to a mid major in the first round of the NCAA. Now we would all love that I am sure.

UNC is the most overrated team in the top 25. The ACC is constantly the most overrated conference. I would be surprise to see a team from the ACC in the Final 4.

Euro I would respectfully disagree with you, I think they do get overhyped at times but when the tourney starts they are usually right in the thick of things and have been pretty successful as a conference winning the National Title, I think all the teams from the ACC that make the tourney are battled tested and big games arent that big to them. If they are over rated which conference do you think is the best in the country. And please dont talk about the SEC with there over rated bs

The ACC may have one top team each year make a run at the Final 4. But they constantly get 6-7 teams in the tourney. I believe the Big Ten and SEC have had the most multiple teams make the final four in the same year. The ACC this year has one team ranked in the top 10. However, they will manage to get 6 teams in the tourney. If I had to pick who the best conference is I would have to go with the PAC Ten. But I dont like to pick what conference is the best because there are too many variables. But I will take the PAC Ten because they have 3 teams in the top 11.

Thats a bold statement. UNC will be tough out in March and I believe they'll be in the final four. I do agree that the ACC is weaker than usual. Pac10 and SEC are the two best conferences. Hoping my Cats can keep the 10 game winning streak going and continue moving in the right directino.

Make your case for UNC. They beat Ohio State at home and I think Ohio State is also over ranked (right now). Their best win was at Tennessee.

Its the middle of January and I dont have the time to make my case other than they have one of the most talented starting 5 (along with Florida, who has very good depth) w/ a decent bench. Looking at the top ten they all have flaws; there's still a lot of basketball left to be played, I think that Roy will have his squad primed for a nice run thru the tourney. Who's your final four then if UNC's out?

My final 4 is Florida, Wisonsin, UCLA and Oregon.

What is amazing to me is the UK has a RPI of .6649 which is 5th. I see where they cracked the top 25 this week.

Yeah, we're up there in RPI. Problem is that we havent had a quality win yet-played well against UCLA, but way too many turnovers and then had no legs the following night vs Memphis in the Maui Invit. The Cats should be ok come March and might be able to make some noise b/c they play well together as a team-we'll see how we stand vs Tenn, Florida, Bama, LSU, and Ark

I know they played well against my Hoosiers. I think UK will fly under the radar (if that is possibile).

Pat...this thread took alot longer for you to post than I expected.

Sooooo....maybe my Heels will have a couple losses in conference this year. Still a very young team and by the time the ACC tourney rolls around, and then the big dance...they will be hitting their best stride.

Did you happen to see UNC in action last night? There's my case right there. Clemson is overrated, but UNC was toying with them and played great defense. They couldve doubled up on them. Here's your chance to make any necessary changes to your final 4-didnt see any of the Wisconsin game, but Purdue played them tough in Madison. Wisconsin might be vulnerable in the tourney, especially since they'll run the table in the 2 team big 10.

UNC beat an overrated Clemson team that played one of the worst games I have ever seen. Clemson looked confused and UNC played about the best game they could. But put them against an avg team in the tourney and they will fold. Wisconsin is going to be in the final four. They have great guard play and they make free throws.
