Default Great News For Me

I now have a syndicate to play some Pick 4's and an occasional stab at the Magna 5 on Saturdays. We talked at great length today at Beulah about how we would do this since I am not able to attend every Saturday like he is, seeing how I have to work most weekends I have never had a regular "gambling partner" if you will but I am very excited about our chances at a score or two during the course of the next couple of months. I would HIGHLY recommend this to the other novice players that read this board. Small investment on a weekly basis with someone you trust. Every Friday evening we will talk the card over, my partner is a very experienced player and has seen many ups and downs of playing the ponies. I will just sit back and listen. Our arrangemnt is simple, I trust his judgement. If I feel strongly about a horse or two that should be included he will play accordingly. But, the actual ticket structure is his. 50/50 right down the middle. Really, really like the way this arrangement has worked out and now that I am in a financial situation to do it, very excited.

Sounds good.

If you find the right type of person(s), that can be lots of fun.

no worries, it was a good line...I resisted even calling them for a quote for a long time because I despised their ad campaigns...but sometimes being stubborn is just stupid

You think that's high? I pay $100 a month for car insurance and that's considered cheap down here. Then again, my driving record speaks for itself... LOL

That's classic... I've only gotten 4 speeding tickets in my life, but it was how fast I was going that really got me.

85 in a 45, 100 in a 70, 70 in a 50 and 50 in a 35. HAHA

We don't have to have front plates in Florida, so I'm good on that one.

they actually write 100 in a 70....I was going like 110 back from school once and got pinched but the cop wrote it for 83 in a 65. It is common practice in Illinois, unless you are acting like an idiot

Well, I don't know if it's typical or not, but yep, he sure as heck wrote it for me. Ticked me off too... I was late getting back to Orlando for my rehearsal dinner for my wedding. Maybe it was a sign from God that I wasn't supposed to get married. Too bad it was a lesson learned too late.
