I'd rather eat broken glass than take my wife to the track.

I've never been with a guy that can put up with my horse racing addiction, so I can honestly say that I've never brought a guy (except Brian ) to the track either.

It's the same for me now. I was telling Jamie about it in Orlando, that my partner is still a jerk. He has no problem going with me when I hit seven winners in a row at Hawthorne and have let him buy in a quarter of the pick-3 and pick-4 bets I hit that day. No, the track is awesome when I'm able to turn his $20 into $300.

Though wait until the day that I can't hit a winner to save my life.....cut to the whole, "How come you can't pick a winner. There were only six horses in the last race, you had a one in six chance, yammer yammer yammer yammer."

You can't win with people that don't understand what's really going on.

See above, for a reminder as to why your zero-guys-at-the-track philosophy is spot-on.

Good thing Sniper and I found each other, we can cap together and he tolerates my goo-gooism over horses.

Honestly, I'd love to meet one that understood. Which is why... (well you know where I'm going with this .) One of these days, I'll meet someone that I'm compatible with. Until then, I'll hang out with all of the DT'ers.
