Gulfstream Cancels Mondays Races
They ran one race and have cancelled the card. Glad I didnot spend alot of time on the PP's yet. Sorry to you who did.! So, now we are looking at Wednesday for the P6 carryover of over $100K.

Jockeys no longer ride on sloppy tracks.

Thankfully, the card room and, especially, the fish-tank slot emporium remain open for fans' enjoyment.

It really has become a joke. I can remember as little as five years ago, it was almost unthinkable to cancel even a single day of Aqueduct for cold weather. I mean it needed to be below zero with howling winds to get them to cancel. Now it happens regularly in winter there and other tracks. Now add rain to the list. Remember the Derby a few years ago? If ever there was a day to cancel because of rain, that was it.

Yeah, who needs racing anyway. Personally I only feel bad for the dedicated Horse Wizard players. |

GP should ban the jockeys who wanted to cancel from the track. These overpaid dwarves need to keep their midget mouths shut and ride.

Considering the jockeys involved in the opener I would guess either Bejarano or Castro led this particular charge. They could have taken off their combined seven mounts the rest of the way if they were so concerned.

It's a conspiracy. Leparoux and polytrack have influenced the other jockeys and turned them into honorary frenchmen. That's why they're so quick to surrender a racing day.

Chirst, the jockeys have stronger pull than the union I'm in!
