Default More Anna Nicole

Am I the only one that thinks this story is being over reported?
I like the refrigerator photos, and Zsa Zsa hubby filing for paternity, but come on major media outlets...this story is getting beaten to death (no pun intended).
So, now we're up to five possible daddies (not counting me).
Does anyone also think that the intent of the over marketing of her death is a diversion of some sort by the "news" outlets?

Did you check out how incredibly AWFUL Howard K. Stern looked? DANG did he look bad.

I just wish they would do the paternity test and get it overwith for the baby's sake. She needs to get into a permanent home and stay there.

This is terrible...nothing here should be public for the child's sake...was it Nightmare on Elm Street that spoke of "the bastard son of 1000 maniacs"? That's the legacy this poor child will carry!

Buffymom,
I agree with your take.
Seems to me that the major news outlets are milking this story for some purpose...lots and lots of mileage.
I'm also sad for the baby girl, however, it seems like lots of $$$$$$ are at stake, and that seems to be the focus.
I think this guy is the daddy...

Honestly, I believe he is too. I think Howard is only pretending to be the dad because Anna had him wrapped around her little finger. He did whatever she told him to do.

I just hope that who ever the dad is will step up and give this baby girl a nice happy life.

I also hope the baby girl has a nice happy life.
The point of this thread was about the over reporting of this story.
Do you think the "news outlets" are doing some diversion from more important news?

Probably just pandering to the thirst for dirt as usual!

Honestly? I was watching it on TV last night. I was interested in seeing how Howard looked and what he had to say. I liked Anna. I thought she was screwed up in the head from all the drugs, but I think she was a nice woman who had a heart of gold.

The bad thing Buffy the Paternity Test is only the beginning.

Stern has guardianship right now as said father on birth certificate.

Even once they find out who's the biological father, then there will a court battle for custody.

Look at the number of posts on the board about it...I think there is your tell tale sign.

I feel bad for the innocent daughter, but that's about as far as it goes.

dr. fager,
You are correct.
I googled Anna N and came up with over 2,000 stories...only four days.
Yikes!
Sure, Somer is right, the fascination with "dirt", but comeon already.
Other things are happening.
I liked McCafferty's take to Wolf Blitzer..."Is Anna Nicole still dead?"

.
I totally agree...enough already about this woman...she was no saint.
Troubled? yes...does that mean we should feels bad because she screwed up her own life? Sorry, but everyone has to take responsibility for themselves at some point...I have little pity for people who don't.

Yes, we are all responsible for our own behavior, but should we feel sorry for those who make mistakes? Yes...because we all make them and it's called compassion...one of humanity's better qualities!

fair enough, but is she more important than anyone else? Should I start a thread for every obituary in the Patriot News...everday?

I have plenty of compassion, but just because you make a spectacle of yourself in the public eye doesn't make you "special".

compassion is important...but free will is also pretty important IMO...and she made her own choices...and she suffered the consequences of those decisions. Is it sad? sure...but why should I feel bad about it?

But that's not what you are saying when you condemn someone for their mistakes...I agree that she's no more special than the next person but that isn't my point...she was a person and we shouldn't belittle her. The fact that the media chooses to linger on her situation has nothing to do with my point! I find it ironic that I speak of compassion and people jump in with all this rhetoric...I never said she was better than anyone, simply the same! You speak of being responsible for your behavior and I agree...what the media says about her and what others say isn't your issue...only what you say! So enough with the red herring argument here...it is about the very thing you said you believe...personal responsibility! What she did with her life, how others enjoy condemning her, the whole circus...at the end of the day, it's only what I say that I am responsible for...same with each of us!
