As a "cuse" fan, I hate to admit it...but G-town is good.
The Thursday & Friday in the first round is the best two days of sports ever.
It's usually around St. Patty's day and the three year old races are heating up.
Every year, I have a day or two of vacation time to "use or lose it"
because my work anniversary falls on March 17th.
I'll be in front of my TV set with my phone-a-bet full of cash!

Scav,

No mention of the Dawgs??? Unacceptable. You gotta think if they put away Butler this weekend, they'll get a very respectable seed in the tourney and do some damage to everyone's brackets.

Pitt, G-Town(very underrated dangerous team),Marquette,Notre Dame are all pretty good and will likely be represented in the Elite Eight with a team or two...

Always mentioning the Dawgs. I REALLY wanted to go to Butler this weekend (about 3 hours from Chicago) but couldn't get a crew to go. if they win tomorrow, my guess is that they win out and end up with a 4 seed, UNPRECEDENTED for the Valley and SIU. It is awesome to EXPECT the Sweet 16, and not HOPE for it.

On another note, we have some GLARING issues. Offensively we are poor if Tatem is not fluid or if Mullins gets in foul trouble. Mullins is the only person that can handle the ball, the only one. Young hasn't done **** all year so hopefully he catchs fire in the tourney, he is my pick to light up March Madness actually for the Dawgs, everyone will be keying on stopping Tatem and Young will get shot after shot.

Texas. Durant could dominate in the tourney.

I'll be the first to say that, sadly, Pitt will not be in the Elite 8...

Yeah,
Pitt has had a lot of formidable teams that come up short every year. After about 3 years of gettin burnt by them I've finally learned. Then again, you can't always play trends... Florida made it to the NCAA finals in 2000 (they lost to Mich St. and Mateen Cleaves), and since then they choked every year up to last year. So what I'm gettin at is perennial chokers like Pitt and Gonzaga are big risks to take no matter how good their team looks like on paper.

On the flip side- You can take teams like Michigan State, who seem weak, but ALWAYS SHOW UP IN MARCH!!!!

With that bein said- The University of Nevada Wolfpack, and thei conference rival: New Mexico State are gonna represent the Wac very strong in the dance this year.
