The only problem about your " turf bias ", and I agree that not only did speed obviously hold, nobody seemed to gain any ground, is it still may have been drying a bit and it could easily be a slightly different course tomorrow.

It is something to think about though....that's for sure.

wonder if they move the rail out..and it very well could be a condition of a drying turf track..if you think about it this the first real rain at the meet..monday...could lend to a theory..dry for a week plus ..closers or outside ..after rain /drying course inside speed...hmmm

I'm 20 miles from Gulf and we had rain overnight. Streets are still wet. I was at the Ft Laud airport (halfway between home and the track) about 6:30 this am and it was drizzling. Only 55 deg right now.

They're breaking out the fur coats in West Palm today, I'm sure.

The rail may be the mitigating factor here. The rail was at 24 feet yesterday, and will be 24 feet today. In one of the races yesterday on the turf Bravo got away with a 50 half and 1:14 6f, also in that race, the 5 Perfect Bullet put on quite a show in the paddock displaying his manhood for 15 minutes, all were quite amused. All thought they had given him Viagra. I'd hazard a guess that they didnot show that on the paddock camera !
