Prep Race
Agreed that this was a prep. But I Want Revenge is not a front runner he ran close to the pace today so that Mr Fantasy would not get a 5 length lead and then passed him IWR still has room to grow...

Why is IP behind. Old FAsioned has 4 races. IP has 3. Both have one race this year. IC has had 8 works since Dec 31. He Rac 6.5 and 7 furlongs a 2 year old. Old Fashioned had 6 furlong a mile...

Anyone see flashbacks of Second June/ Read the Footnotes. Greatest race ever but the horses were never the same. Old Fashioned better be able to rate, because if its a duel.....

At least 50 or 75
If not 400 entries. Why not 50 or 75. Half the horses nominated haven't even started. only about 100 horses would actually be bet. But some of those could still be 300-400 to 1 with a chance.

I like those 4 horse fields
Yes Eight Belles of the 6 ad 4 horse fields the last 2 races. Pretty much the same as running in a 20 horse derby! God I hope they run her in the derby, every dollar bet on her is wasted money.

Pyro and Colonel John
I would agree Pyro has had much more hype because of Asmussen and running 2nd in the Breeders Cup. But Colonel John has had the same 2 races, 2 wins, and has the same if not better breeding for 10...

off Poly
Zenyatta and Tiago seemed to do just fine first start off poly today, so did Heatseeker and Circular Quay at the Fair Grounds Poly did pretty well.
